Casara Corneli Organic Dried Chickpeas (Ceci) 400g
If you~re as obsessed with ceci as we are, you~ll need these in your pantry~maybe two or three just to be safe. Smaller and firmer than your typical chickpea, these dried ceci should be soaked overnight and simmered in a pot of water with aromatics before using in soups, salads, stews, or, best of all, spread atop bruschetta.
In the fertile hills between Perugia and Orvieto, on their 500 acres of farmland, the Corneli family grows some of Umbria~s finest organic lentils, chickpeas, cannellini, and borlotti beans. Corneli~s entire production~harvesting, drying, sorting, packaging~is done on the farm, without using additives or preservatives.
